Obtain a copy of vLeader from your class instructor. Pay for your copy with a credit card by using this link here.

SimuLearn licenses a copy of the program to each individual student. It is your responsibility to pay for your license before you start the course. Failure to pay for your own license can lead to withholding of course credit. Programs cannot be resold to other students.

Complete the following tasks:
a) Install the vLeader program from the CD-ROM (follow instructions in accompanying workbook) b) Read The New Core of Leadership & Using Leadership to Implement Leadership c) View online demo d) Complete workbook exercises though page 11 as far as the page that says "Attend Session Two" |
The two leadership articles provide the fundamentals of the vLeader program. The online demo acquaints students with the simulation interface and interactions with the virtual characters and ideas.

The workbook contains many opportunities to try different approaches with the computer characters. Write down what you see and feel as you play so you can discuss with your class.

After completing the 5 scenarios, use this checklist after you have attended a real world meeting or conversation; this can be part of your final written assignment and reflection paper. You should identify how many of the 30 strategies & tactics you are now more cognizant of and are using in real world conversations after completing the vLeader program.
